Vibroplasm

In a time of constant connection and constant reduction of life experiences into packages of transferrable data, the world no longer feels like a constellation of separate entities that co-exist, but rather one field for waves of matter, energy and information to pass through. To get a better grasp of this way of looking at the world, I began a series of experiments in which objects are organised in a field for physical vibration to pass through. This work consists of a performative installation, in which a space is composed with physical objects that are equipped with contact microphones and contact speakers, and a performer who activates the space by actuating the objects and creating acoustic connections between them.
